Elastic Secures $130 Million, Five‑Year CISA Contract for FedRAMP‑Certified SIEMaaS Platform

Elastic announced a $130 million, five‑year contract with the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) to deliver a FedRAMP‑certified Security Information and Event Management as a Service (SIEMaaS) platform built on Elastic Cloud. The deal includes a $26 million base‑year commitment and up to four option years that would extend through 2030.

The platform will centralize telemetry from federal civilian agencies, enabling real‑time threat detection and rapid incident response. Elastic will implement the solution through ECS, a brand of ASGN, which brings proven experience in government deployments.

The contract underscores Elastic’s growing presence in the federal market. FedRAMP certification at the Moderate Impact level, a OneGov agreement with the General Services Administration, and participation in the AWS Zero Trust Accelerator for Government position Elastic as a trusted partner for agencies required to meet Executive Orders 14028 and M‑21‑31.

Management highlighted the strategic importance of the win. CEO Ash Kulkarni said the new service “sets a new standard for speed, scale, and collective defense across civilian agencies,” noting that the recurring revenue model will support Elastic’s broader cloud‑based security analytics portfolio.

Analysts view the contract as a significant tailwind for Elastic’s cloud business. The deal adds a predictable revenue stream that complements the company’s recent quarterly growth, where revenue rose 17% year‑over‑year to $382 million in fiscal Q3 2025 and $423.48 million in fiscal Q2 2026.

The win also signals a shift in the competitive landscape, as Elastic now competes directly with other cloud‑native security vendors for federal contracts. The partnership with ASGN and the use of Elastic Cloud’s FedRAMP‑certified infrastructure provide a competitive advantage that could accelerate future government sales.
