Eaton and Siemens Energy announced a strategic partnership aimed at accelerating the delivery of new data center capacity through integrated onsite power solutions. This collaboration will offer reliable grid-independent energy supplies and standardized modular systems.
The initiative is designed to facilitate swift data center construction and deployment, potentially reducing time-to-market by up to two years. Siemens Energy will provide modular power plant concepts, including highly efficient SGT-800 gas turbines and battery storage systems.
Eaton will contribute electrical equipment such as medium and low voltage switchgear, UPS systems, busways, and engineering services, along with software offerings. This comprehensive approach will protect and enable IT loads from the medium-voltage grid to the chip, supporting rapid commissioning of data centers.
