On October 15, 2025, enCore Energy Corp. (NASDAQ: EU) announced today that new uranium mineralized roll fronts had been discovered adjacent to its existing wellfields at the Alta Mesa In‑Situ Recovery (ISR) Uranium Project. The company’s re‑analysis of thousands of historic drill holes revealed at least three new roll fronts, each extending more than 2,500 feet in length, located 320‑345 feet below the surface and roughly 200 feet above the previously exploited mineralization.
The first new roll front has advanced to permitting as Wellfield 3 Extension, while two additional roll fronts have been identified overlying the productive mineralization in Wellfield 4. A third roll front extending south from Wellfield 1 is also in progress. The shallow depth of these new mineralizations—approximately 200 feet above the existing wells—means shorter drill times, reduced cement and casing requirements, and significant cost savings in both delineation and extraction compared to deeper targets.
This discovery expands the potential production envelope of the Alta Mesa project, allowing enCore to increase extraction rates without the capital intensity of new surface infrastructure. By leveraging existing wellfields and the company’s ISR technology, the additional roll fronts can be brought online more quickly and at lower cost, strengthening enCore’s competitive position and providing a clear upside to future production and cash flow.
