enCore Energy Corp. announced on September 2, 2025, that its Dewey Burdock In-Situ Recovery (ISR) Uranium Project in South Dakota has been approved for inclusion in the Fast-41 Program by the U.S. Federal Permitting Improvement Steering Council. This approval is a component of President Trump's Executive Order on Immediate Measures to Increase American Mineral Production.
The Fast-41 Program identifies priority infrastructure and critical mineral projects for accelerated permitting review. The Dewey Burdock Project, which received its Source and Byproduct Materials License in 2014 from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), will now work with the NRC as the lead agency for federal permitting.
This inclusion supports the domestic uranium production focus of the United States, enabling the development of essential clean energy through environmentally responsible ISR technology. The project aims to provide affordable, reliable domestic energy and economic stimulus to southwest South Dakota.
