FutureFuel Corp. provided an update on February 28, 2025, regarding its Batesville, Arkansas, production facility turnaround. The turnaround, which began in December 2024 and was previously expected to conclude by the end of February 2025, has been further prolonged.
Severe inclement weather conditions in the Batesville area during February impacted the company’s ability to complete the maintenance and restart various production processes. As a result, biodiesel production is now not expected to restart until the end of March 2025 at the earliest.
Other production processes at the facility are anticipated to ramp up in early March 2025. This extended delay in biodiesel production will further impact the company's operational output and sales volumes for the first quarter of 2025.
