Five Below, Inc. announced on October 1 2025 that Daniel Sullivan will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer and Michelle Israel will become Chief Merchandising Officer, with both appointments effective October 6 2025.
Sullivan brings approximately 35 years of senior finance and operational leadership, having served as CFO of Edgewell Personal Care, Party City, and Ahold USA, as well as COO and CFO roles at Heineken USA and Heineken International. His track record includes driving significant topline growth and margin expansion in consumer‑goods companies.
Israel is a seasoned retail executive with nearly 35 years at Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s, most recently as Senior Vice President and General Merchandise Manager for Beauty and Center Core at Macy’s. She has led multi‑billion‑dollar merchandising portfolios and owned full P&L responsibility for value brands and off‑price operations.
The new leadership team will oversee Five Below’s financial operations, information technology, asset protection, merchandising, planning, allocation, product sourcing, development, quality, and compliance. Their combined experience is positioned to strengthen the company’s financial discipline, enhance product assortment, and support the retailer’s growth strategy.
