Foremost Clean Energy Secures Three‑Year Exploration Permit for Turkey Lake Uranium Project in Saskatchewan

Foremost Clean Energy Ltd. (NASDAQ: FMST) received a three‑year exploration permit from the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment for its Turkey Lake uranium project on December 1 2025. The permit, valid through December 31 2028, authorizes up to 75 drill holes, line cutting, trail use, and related exploration activities, giving the company a clear regulatory path to advance a high‑potential Athabasca Basin asset.

The company will begin a ground‑based gravity survey in December, conducted by MWH Geo Survey. The 1,312‑station survey will map gravity lows associated with hydrothermal alteration and fault‑controlled fluid pathways, refining the geological model and prioritizing drill targets for a 2026 drilling program. The survey’s focus on gravity lows is intended to identify structural traps that historically host uranium mineralization in the region.

Historical work by Denison Mines Corp. and Cameco has already identified uranium intercepts at Turkey Lake, including 0.16% U₃O₈ over 0.6 m in TUR‑4 and 0.12% U₃O₈ over 0.5 m in TL‑10‑13. Foremost’s option agreement with Denison allows the company to earn an interest in the property, leveraging Denison’s technical expertise and historical data to de‑risk the asset before drilling.

The permit and upcoming survey are significant because the Athabasca Basin is one of the world’s richest uranium‑producing regions, and regulatory approval in Saskatchewan is a key milestone for any exploration company. By securing the permit, Foremost removes a major regulatory hurdle, enabling a focused drilling campaign that could unlock a high‑grade resource and strengthen its uranium portfolio in partnership with Denison.

CEO Jason Barnard expressed enthusiasm for the permit, noting that the Turkey Lake project’s historical results and strategic location position it as a promising candidate for future discovery. He emphasized that the permit and gravity survey lay the groundwork for a disciplined, data‑driven drilling program that aligns with the company’s broader strategy to advance clean‑energy resources.
