Fortuna Mining Corp. reported additional high-grade exploration drilling results from the Southern Arc deposit at its Diamba Sud Gold Project in Senegal. Highlights include drillhole DSDD488, which intersected 22.7 g/t Au over an estimated true width of 21.6 meters from a downhole depth of 53 meters.
These results were achieved from 152 reverse circulation and diamond core drill holes totaling 21,234 meters completed since the previous exploration update. Importantly, 53 of these drill holes were completed after the data cut-off date for Southern Arc’s maiden Inferred Mineral Resource estimate, indicating significant potential for further resource growth.
The Southern Arc deposit remains open to the south, east, and at depth, with current drilling extending only to approximately 150 meters. Drilling is scheduled to resume in mid-September following the rainy season, with further results expected by year-end to be included in an updated resource estimate planned for the first quarter of 2026.
