Fortuna Mining Corp. announced compelling exploration drilling results from its Diamba Sud Gold Project in Senegal, particularly at the Southern Arc prospect. Recent drilling delivered high-grade intercepts, including 8.6 g/t gold over an estimated true width of 13.6 meters and 9.3 g/t gold over 11.8 meters, reinforcing the project’s potential for near-term resource growth.

Infill drilling at the Area A, Area D, and Karakara deposits also yielded encouraging results, with a standout intercept of 113.7 g/t gold over 6.4 meters estimated true width at Area D. These results are expected to be incorporated into the forthcoming resource update for the Diamba Sud Project, indicating potential for future resource expansion, especially in Area A.

Mineralization at Southern Arc remains open at depth and along strike, with further drilling ongoing. The exploration program focused on refining the geological model and understanding controls on mineralization, with results from this program contributing valuable insight into the broader mineral system at Diamba Sud.
