Fortuna Mining Corp. reported updated exploration drilling results from the Kingfisher and Sunbird deposits at its Séguéla Mine in Côte d’Ivoire. At Kingfisher, a successful infill drill program confirmed broad mineralization, with notable intersections including 4.5 g/t Au over an estimated true width of 37.4 meters from 79 meters.

Exploration at Kingfisher has now extended the strike and depth, successfully intersecting mineralization 300 meters below surface and a further 250 meters along strike, marking the deepest drilling to date at the deposit. Mineralization remains open along strike and at depth over a greater than one-kilometer strike length, with drilling planned to continue through 2025.

At the Sunbird deposit, deep exploration drilling continued to return excellent results, including 11.2 g/t Au over an estimated true width of 5.6 meters. Drill-defined mineralization now extends over 1.1 kilometers down plunge, approximately 700 meters below surface, and a second high-grade shoot extending at least 800 meters down plunge from the pit has been identified. Near-surface shallow mineralization was also identified approximately 180 meters into the footwall.
