Fury Gold Mines Unveils 825,000‑Ounce Inferred Resource at Sakami Gold Project

Fury Gold Mines announced that its Sakami Gold Project in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay region of northern Quebec now contains an inferred mineral resource of 825,000 ounces of gold, covering a 14,250‑hectare area. The estimate, prepared by SGS Geological Services and effective November 11 2025, is based on 17,719 m of diamond drilling performed by Quebec Precious Metals and Fury.

The inferred resource is significant because it is open in all directions and sits within a 14.7‑Mt exploration target that grades 1.11–1.57 g/t Au. The company’s discovery cost of roughly C$9 per ounce—one of the lowest in the sector—underscores the efficiency of its acquisition of Quebec Precious Metals and the subsequent drilling program. A low discovery cost combined with a large, open resource suggests that further drilling could quickly upgrade the resource to indicated or measured status, accelerating the project’s path to development.

CEO Tim Clark highlighted the strategic value of the Sakami estimate, noting that it “provides a solid base from which we can grow our ounces within the James Bay region.” The project’s location in an established mining corridor with good infrastructure access aligns with Fury’s focus on high‑grade, near‑term assets, positioning Sakami as a key contributor to the company’s portfolio growth.

Fury will file a technical report with SEDAR+ within 45 days of the announcement and plans to commence additional drilling later this month. The company also noted that the deposit would require a dam for mining operations, a factor that will influence future engineering studies and permitting costs. Upgrading the resource and addressing infrastructure needs are the next critical steps toward a potential development plan.

While the announcement does not yet trigger a market reaction, the disclosed resource base and low discovery cost provide investors with a clearer view of the project’s upside potential and the company’s execution capability. The information is likely to influence long‑term investment models and strategic assessments of Fury’s growth trajectory.
