Galiano Gold Inc. announced the discovery of a new high-grade zone at its Abore Main pit, located immediately below the designed Mineral Reserve pit shell. This discovery was a result of the completed infill drilling program at the Abore deposit.
A particularly strong intercept of 50 meters at 3.1 grams per tonne gold was reported, indicating significant mineralization. This new zone suggests that the mineralizing system at Abore is larger than previously understood.
The infill drilling program also identified multiple high-grade intercepts surrounding the known Abore South pit high-grade zone. These results validate the high-grade zones within the existing Mineral Reserves and point to further expansion potential of the deposit at depth, supporting the company's long-term growth path.
