Gauzy Ltd. announced on January 21, 2025, that its strategic partnership with Journeo plc is on track to equip London's entire fleet of 8,500 commercial buses with Gauzy's Smart-Vision® advanced driver assistance system (ADAS). By the end of 2024, over 2,500 buses in London were already operating with this technology, achieving approximately 30% market share in the U.K. capital.
This growing collaboration with Journeo will enable Gauzy to expand its market presence into other European countries, including Norway, Iceland, Sweden, and Denmark. The partnership leverages Journeo's expertise and relationships within the transport community to accelerate the commercial adoption of Smart-Vision®.
The Smart-Vision® system replaces traditional mirrors with integrated high-definition exterior cameras and interior cab displays, providing expanded visibility and automatically alerting drivers to potential risks. The global ADAS market is projected to reach over $125 billion by 2029, positioning Gauzy to capitalize on increasing demand for urban safety solutions.
