On April 28, 2025, GE Aerospace and Magellan Aerospace announced an amended long-term revenue sharing agreement to include the production of major components for the F414-GE-400K aircraft engine. This expands their existing partnership.
Under the amended agreement, two of Magellan's facilities will serve as the sole source provider for F414 engine frames over a seven-year period. These components will support the KF-21 aircraft, U.S. Navy spares, and Gripen F414-39E engine programs.
This collaboration strengthens GE Aerospace's supply chain for critical defense propulsion systems. It ensures the availability of essential components for military aircraft operated by allied nations, reinforcing operational readiness and long-term program support.
