GE HealthCare Technologies Inc. today announced a seven‑year Care Alliance with the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) to expand advanced imaging and patient monitoring capabilities across the UR Medicine health system.

The partnership will deploy a center of excellence in URMC’s Imaging Sciences department, install an Aurora SPECT/CT and LOGIQ E10 ultrasound portfolio, and add a cyclotron for on‑site production of short‑lived radiopharmaceuticals, enhancing precision medicine and theranostics in the Finger Lakes region.

By standardizing equipment and integrating AI‑enabled imaging solutions, the alliance aims to improve workflow efficiency, reduce IT and biomed burdens, and provide high‑quality care closer to patients’ homes, reinforcing GE HealthCare’s precision‑care strategy and expanding its market presence in a key U.S. region.
