GE HealthCare Technologies announced the Allia Moveo on December 1 2025, unveiling a slim, cable‑free C‑arm that promises to streamline workflow in interventional suites. The system’s lightweight design and compact footprint allow it to be positioned in tight spaces, while its wide‑bore architecture supports cone‑beam computed tomography for a broad patient population.

The Allia Moveo incorporates SmartMove technology that automatically repositions the arm, cutting setup time by up to 30 %. Ergonomic controls are accessible from any position, and AI‑powered guidance overlays help clinicians navigate complex procedures with greater precision. The combination of mobility, speed, and AI support positions the platform as a key enabler for minimally invasive care.

Regulatory status and availability remain pending. The device is awaiting FDA 510(k) clearance and is not yet available for sale in the United States. GE HealthCare expects the first commercial deliveries in Q1 2026, beginning in Europe and Asia, with a U.S. launch to follow once clearance is obtained.

The Allia Moveo is a strategic fit within GE HealthCare’s precision‑care strategy, which emphasizes AI and data‑driven solutions to improve patient outcomes. By adding a mobile, AI‑enhanced imaging platform, GE HealthCare expands its Advanced Visualization Solutions portfolio and opens a new revenue stream in the growing market for mobile interventional imaging. The launch also signals the company’s continued investment in AI, which has already led to more than 100 FDA‑authorized AI‑enabled solutions and a $3 billion R&D spend since 2022.

Philip Rackliffe, President and CEO of Advanced Visualization Solutions, said the system “addresses the growing complexity of minimally invasive procedures by delivering precision, simplifying workflows, and supporting efficient care delivery.” Jyoti Gera, CEO of CardioVascular and Interventional Solutions, added that the Allia Moveo “represents our boldest innovation yet, shaped by years of collaboration with interventionalists and surgeons.”

The Allia Moveo will be showcased at the upcoming Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) conference, where GE HealthCare is also unveiling next‑generation SIGNA MRI technology and the Genesis Radiology Workspace. The product enters a competitive field that includes other mobile C‑arm solutions, but its AI‑driven guidance and SmartMove technology differentiate it from rivals, potentially giving GE HealthCare a first‑mover advantage in the high‑growth mobile imaging segment.
