Genesis Energy Reports Q4 2024 Results, Nears Completion of Major Capital Projects

Genesis Energy, L.P. reported fourth-quarter 2024 results that were generally in line with its expectations. The company announced that over 90% of the expected growth capital associated with its offshore expansion projects was completed by year-end 2024. The Granger soda ash production facility expansion was successfully completed, increasing its nameplate capacity from approximately 500,000 tons per year to 1.2-1.3 million tons per year. This expansion is expected to reduce per-unit operating costs. Management projects Adjusted EBITDA to be around $700 million for 2025 and potentially around $800 million for 2026, signaling a positive financial inflection point. The offshore pipeline transportation segment margin for Q4 2024 was $76.7 million, compared to $106.167 million in Q4 2023.
