Geospace Technologies Secures $7.6 Million Contract for Mariner Ocean Bottom Nodes

Geospace Technologies Corporation announced it was awarded a $7.6 million purchase contract to deliver its Mariner™ ocean bottom wireless nodes. The contract was secured with Caspian Engineering Company, a geologic-geophysical and engineering survey company based in Kazakhstan.

The Mariner™ nodes are designed for extended-duration seabed ocean bottom seismic data acquisition, capable of deployment in depths down to 750 meters with continuous recording for up to 70 days. This technology offers operational and seismic data quality benefits for challenging applications.

Delivery of the Mariner™ nodes is expected to occur during Geospace Technologies' third fiscal quarter. This contract represents a significant order for the company's Energy Solutions segment, contributing to its revenue outlook.
