CGI Inc. has won a new state‑level contract to deploy its CGI Advantage ERP solution for Nevada’s modernized human resources and payroll systems under the CORE.NV program. The deal replaces a 25‑year‑old legacy platform and is part of Nevada’s “One Nevada” vision for integrated, citizen‑focused government services.

The CORE.NV initiative is Nevada’s comprehensive plan to replace fragmented legacy systems with a single, statewide ERP platform. Phase 1A of the program, which launched in January 2025, focused on the state’s financial system; the HR and payroll modules, which were slated for mid‑2025 implementation, are now live. The new system will automate benefit and deduction calculations, streamline HR services, and provide real‑time analytics for resource allocation, improving employee paychecks and fiscal stewardship across agencies.

For CGI, the contract adds a new state‑level client and reinforces its recurring revenue base. It aligns with the company’s strategy of leveraging AI‑enabled managed services and its CGI Advantage ERP to win long‑term government contracts. The win follows a similar contract awarded in April 2024 for Nevada’s ERP upgrade, underscoring a growing partnership with the state.

CGI’s Q4 fiscal 2025 results provide context for the significance of the contract. The company reported revenue of $4.01 billion, up 9.7% year‑over‑year, and adjusted diluted EPS of $2.13, up 10.9% year‑over‑year. The book‑to‑bill ratio was 119% in Q4, indicating strong demand for CGI’s services. The Nevada contract is expected to contribute to this positive trajectory by adding a stable, long‑term revenue stream and demonstrating the company’s ability to secure large public‑sector projects.

CEO François Boulanger highlighted the company’s focus on AI‑embedded managed services and a robust pipeline of opportunities in recent earnings calls. He noted that the Nevada contract exemplifies CGI’s ability to deliver integrated, AI‑powered solutions that drive operational efficiency for government clients, reinforcing confidence in the company’s growth strategy.

The contract also signals a broader shift in Nevada’s public‑sector technology landscape. By modernizing HR and payroll systems, the state aims to deliver more transparent, citizen‑focused services and improve workforce management. The partnership positions CGI as a key partner in Nevada’s digital transformation and sets the stage for future government contracts that can further expand the company’s public‑sector footprint.
