Globant unveiled version 2.3 of its proprietary AI platform, Globant Enterprise AI (GEAI), which now integrates the Agentic Commerce Protocol (ACP). This update enables the capacity of building AI Agents with transactional capabilities, just hours after OpenAI's announcement of the new protocol.
ACP allows AI agents, users, and businesses to collaborate in completing purchases directly through conversational interfaces, leveraging existing payment systems and fulfillment processes. This provides a secure, compatible, and enterprise-ready framework for AI-driven transactions.
Martín Migoya, Co-founder and CEO of Globant, stated that with GEAI 2.3, Globant is taking a major step forward by introducing transactional capabilities to AI Agents, eager to pilot this new feature with clients. Gastón Milano, CTO of Globant Enterprise AI, highlighted that GEAI's flexible design allows for immediate integration of new models and protocols, enabling clients to explore agents capable of executing transactions securely and at scale.
