Genasys Inc. (NASDAQ: GNSS) announced today the completion of its Acoustics installation and commissioning on the Alabama‑Coushatta Tribe of Texas reservation. The deployment includes 10 Acoustics sites strategically located across the 11,000‑acre reservation, each equipped with solar power, battery backup, satellite and 4G cellular connectivity to ensure redundancy and resilience in varied terrains and weather conditions. The Acoustics systems are integrated with Genasys Protect software and a National Weather Service (NWS) feed that automatically activates the devices when a specific NWS weather alert polygon includes the reservation. This autonomous weather‑triggered activation provides a multi‑channel emergency warning system that can broadcast voice alerts, text messages, and other notifications to residents, visitors and tourists in real time. CEO Richard Danforth highlighted the importance of the deployment, noting that the recent flooding and loss of life in the Texas Hill Country underscored the need for advanced, multi‑channel warning systems. He emphasized that Genasys Protect’s geo‑targeted evacuation management and multi‑channel alerts are essential for saving lives, citing successful use during the January 2025 Los Angeles fires and Hurricane Helene floods. The completion of this project adds to Genasys’ growing portfolio of critical infrastructure deployments, reinforcing its record hardware backlog and supporting the company’s broader strategy that includes the Puerto Rico Early Warning System and the Army CROWS AHD program. The new installation demonstrates the company’s ability to deliver integrated hardware and software solutions to government and enterprise customers, positioning Genasys for continued revenue growth in FY25 and beyond.
