Group 1 Automotive, Inc. announced the acquisition of three luxury brand dealerships: a Lexus and an Acura dealership in Fort Myers, Florida, and a Mercedes-Benz dealership in South Austin, Texas. These additions are expected to generate $330 million in annual revenues.
The acquisitions strategically expand Group 1's footprint in fast-growing 'cluster' markets, increasing its presence to three dealerships in Southwest Florida and eight dealerships in the Austin area. This move aligns with the company's strategy of investing in high-performing luxury brands.
Including these new dealerships, Group 1 has acquired an estimated $430 million of annual revenues in 2025. The company also updated its year-to-date share repurchase activity, having bought back 401,649 shares for $167.3 million at an average price of $416.62 through May 19, 2025.
