Garmin has introduced the GPSMAP 9000xsv series of chartplotters, a new line of high‑end marine electronics that combine advanced sonar technology with high‑resolution displays.

The series is available in 10‑, 13‑, and 17‑inch touchscreen models. The 13‑ and 17‑inch units feature 4K resolution and Mini LED backlighting, while the 10‑inch model offers a 1080p display. All models include Garmin’s xCHIRP sonar and UHD scanning sonar, and the new RapidReturn™ technology delivers up to twice the sonar update rate for clearer fish‑finding data.

Connectivity is enhanced with 5‑GHz Wi‑Fi for rapid software and map updates, and the chartplotters support gigabit speeds on Garmin BlueNet™ networks, enabling extensive multi‑device setups. OneHelm™ integrated digital switching is fully supported, allowing seamless integration with Garmin EmpirBus™ and third‑party monitoring and automation systems.

The devices ship in November and are priced starting at $3,199.99. They come preloaded with Garmin Navionics+™ charts that include Auto Guidance+ technology, with an upgrade path to Navionics Vision+™ for premium chart features. SailAssist™ is also available, providing advanced sailing information for premium users.

Mounting options include flat‑ and flush‑mount configurations, giving installers flexibility for a variety of vessel layouts. The launch positions Garmin to strengthen its presence in the high‑end marine electronics market and signals continued investment in cutting‑edge display and sonar technologies.
