On Oct 23 2025, Garmin Ltd. announced a partnership with Truemed, a healthcare payments provider, that allows qualified U.S. customers to use pre‑tax Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds to purchase Garmin fitness and cycling products. The collaboration expands the purchasing power of Garmin’s premium wearables and cycling equipment, enabling consumers to save up to 30% on select items through tax‑advantaged accounts.

Eligible Garmin products include the fēnix®, Forerunner®, Instinct®, Lily®, Venu®, vívoactive®, and vívosmart® smartwatches, as well as Tacx® cycling trainers and Edge® cycling computers. Susan Lyman, Garmin’s Vice President of Consumer Sales and Marketing, stated, “We are thrilled to work with Truemed to provide qualified customers with an easy and convenient way to extend their purchasing power by using pre‑tax dollars to buy eligible Garmin products.” The partnership also offers a dedicated web portal (Garmin.com/truemed) for customers to learn how to leverage HSA/FSA benefits for Garmin purchases.

By opening a new sales channel that leverages tax‑advantaged accounts, Garmin can attract health‑focused consumers who may otherwise be price‑sensitive. The partnership aligns with Garmin’s broader strategy of positioning its wearables as essential health and fitness tools, potentially driving incremental revenue and strengthening customer loyalty in the competitive fitness‑wearable market.
