Grindr announced the expansion of its "Right Now" feature, an intent-based tool designed for immediate connections, to 15 new cities. These cities include major metropolitan areas across North America, Europe, and South America, such as New York City, London, and Sao Paulo.
The "Right Now" feature operates as a real-time feed, separate from the main grid, where users can post text and photos for one hour to indicate their immediate intentions. This expansion builds on successful pilots conducted in 2024 in Australia and the greater Washington D.C. area.
Users in these new markets will receive ten complimentary hour-long sessions per week, with the option to purchase additional sessions. This initiative aims to facilitate more direct and efficient connections, addressing a key user need for immediate encounters.
