Grindr announced the global launch of its "Right Now" feature, an intent-based tool designed to instantly connect users seeking immediate encounters. This global rollout follows successful pilots in Australia and Washington, D.C., and regional expansions earlier in 2025.
The feature is now available to all users worldwide on both iOS and Android platforms. "Right Now" provides a real-time feed, separate from the main grid, where users can post text and photos for one hour to communicate their immediate intentions.
Chief Product Officer AJ Balance noted the strong response to the initial March launch, which accelerated the global rollout ahead of schedule. Users will receive a number of free hour-long sessions per week, with options to purchase more, enhancing monetization opportunities.
