Brazil Potash Corp. announced that its wholly-owned Brazilian subsidiary, Potassio do Brasil, has received two water resource operating licenses from the Amazon State Environmental Protection Institute (IPAAM). These licenses authorize the company to operate two deep water wells at the Autazes Potash Project.

The permits are crucial as they will provide potable water for both the construction and operational phases of the project, supplying sufficient fresh water for the processing plant needs. This marks the first phase of operations for the project and advances previously granted installation licenses for construction.

Matt Simpson, CEO of Brazil Potash, stated that securing these permits represents a key advancement in the project's construction. Independent testing has confirmed both water quality and quantity meet all regulatory requirements, demonstrating the company's commitment to sustainable resource management and enhancing operational planning.
