Brazil Potash Corp. announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between its subsidiary, Potássio do Brasil Ltda., and Keytrade AG, a leading fertilizer trading company. The MOU outlines a potential offtake agreement for up to one million tons per year of potash from the Autazes Potash Project.
This agreement, when combined with Brazil Potash's existing offtake agreement with AMAGGI, secures potential commitments for approximately 1.5 million tons of the company's planned 2.4 million tons of annual potash production. Adriano Espeschit, President of Potassio do Brasil, stated that this MOU represents an important step towards development and validates the company's strategic position.
The substantial volume of potential commitments provides strong foundational support for securing project financing. This commercial progress de-risks the future revenue stream of the Autazes Project, reinforcing its viability as a premier domestic potash supplier for Brazil.
