The research revealed that 90% of Americans are concerned about the presence of microplastics in their bodies and their impact on personal health. Despite this high level of concern, only 51% of respondents knew what microplastics are, indicating a significant knowledge gap.
Grove and 5 Gyres are calling for brands and corporations to reduce their use of and reliance on plastic, emphasizing that the responsibility to solve the microplastics crisis lies with the private sector. This initiative reinforces Grove's mission to offer solutions that help consumers go 'Beyond Plastic™'.
