Graphjet Technology has agreed to collaborate with the Centre for Materials Engineering and Smart Manufacturing (MERCU) of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). This partnership, under the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education's Consortium of Research Excellence 2025, will focus on utilizing graphite and graphene in additive manufacturing technology to develop advanced heat sinks.

The company also announced the completion of a new laboratory last week, which significantly enhances Graphjet's capability to perform quality tests on its graphite and graphene. This new facility will reduce reliance on third-party testing services, allowing for quicker turnaround times in development programs and supporting the UKM collaboration.

Furthermore, Graphjet filed its Form 10-Q for its second quarter ended March 31, 2025, bringing its financial reporting up-to-date. This filing addresses another outstanding regulatory requirement, contributing to the company's efforts to regain full compliance with Nasdaq listing standards.
