Graphjet Technology hosted management executives from a leading South Korean conglomerate, a globally recognized entity in the steel and battery materials industry. This visit represents a significant step towards potential supply agreements for Graphjet's products.

The Korean group, established in 1968, reported consolidated revenues of KRW 72.688 trillion (USD 52.6 billion) and operating profits of KRW 2.174 trillion (USD 1.6 billion) in 2024. The discussions focused on Graphjet’s graphite material for green materials, clean energy integration, and next-generation battery development.

Graphjet's CEO, Chris Lai, highlighted the importance of this contact for accessing the Korean market, home to major battery makers and AI chip manufacturers like Samsung. This engagement also opens a gateway for the company to supply to the broader Asian and North American markets.
