Guidewire Software announced that Heritage Insurance Company has completed a full deployment of its PolicyCenter and BillingCenter applications on the Guidewire Cloud Platform for the insurer’s homeowners and dwelling fire lines across 13 states. The rollout follows Heritage’s 2023 implementation of ClaimCenter and represents the first time the carrier has run a complete InsuranceSuite in production on Guidewire’s cloud offering.
The implementation was led by PwC’s Guidewire PartnerConnect Consulting, which coordinated the migration of Heritage’s legacy systems to the cloud and configured the platform to support the carrier’s multi‑state operations. Heritage writes roughly $1.4 billion in gross personal and commercial residential premium, making the deployment a significant addition to Guidewire’s customer base.
Heritage’s CIO Sai Giridharan highlighted the platform’s scalability and the ability to maintain agent and underwriter collaboration while accelerating rate updates and reducing manual handoffs. CEO Ernie Garateix noted that the new system improves the agent and customer experience and positions the insurer to respond more quickly to market opportunities.
