The Home Depot Appoints Michael Rowe as EVP of Pro and Stephanie Smith as EVP of Human Resources

The Home Depot announced key executive appointments on March 4, 2025, naming Michael Rowe as Executive Vice President (EVP) of Pro, effective immediately. In this new role, Rowe will be responsible for leading the company's strategy to grow its business with professional customers.

His responsibilities will include expanding critical capabilities for the Pro market, such as delivery services, salesforce development, technology and CRM tools, and order management. Rowe previously served as president of The Home Depot Canada, where he was instrumental in building the Pro business and driving growth.

Additionally, Stephanie Smith has been promoted to EVP and will succeed Tim Hourigan as EVP of Human Resources upon his retirement on June 6. Smith will oversee the culture and experience for the company's more than 470,000 associates, focusing on leadership development, associate engagement, and fostering the company's unique values.
