Himax Technologies, Inc. announced its participation in embedded world 2025, taking place in Nürnberg, Germany, from March 10-12, 2025. The company will showcase its WiseEye™ AI technology and revolutionary liquid crystal (LC) optical applications from its subsidiary Liqxtal Technology Inc.
The WiseEye showcase will feature ultralow power AI sensing, biometric authentication, and thermal imaging sensing applications, including the WiseEye PalmVein Module which integrates palm vein and facial recognition. Himax will also collaborate with Calumino to present thermal imaging sensing solutions.
Liqxtal will unveil new LC optical applications such as Liqxtal® Graph, Liqxtal® Dim, and Liqxtal® Pro-Eye, designed to enhance industrial embedded displays, vision-assisted systems, and smart wearables. This demonstrates Himax's continued diversification and innovation in AIoT and optical technologies.
