Stanley M. Bergman to Retire as Henry Schein CEO at End of 2025

Henry Schein, Inc. announced that Stanley M. Bergman will retire as Chief Executive Officer at the end of 2025, after 45 years with the company, including more than 35 years as CEO. Mr. Bergman will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board following his retirement.

During Mr. Bergman’s tenure as CEO, Henry Schein’s revenue grew from $225 million in 1989 to almost $13 billion in 2024, representing a compound annual growth rate of approximately 17.5%. The company's market capitalization also grew from $290 million at its 1995 IPO to nearly $9 billion.

The Board of Directors is commencing a formal search process with a nationally recognized executive search firm to identify Mr. Bergman's successor, considering both internal and external candidates. This leadership transition marks a significant moment for the company's future strategic direction.
