Huron acquired the Payor Consulting Services Division of AXIOM Systems, adding roughly 40 employees and integrating the unit into its Healthcare operating segment.
The acquisition brings specialized technology, data and analytics skills for claims administration, data transformation, and systems integration, complementing Huron’s existing strengths in healthcare strategy, operations, and digital transformation.
Huron’s CEO Mark Hussey said the addition will help clients modernize claims platforms and leverage connected data to improve operational performance and member outcomes. AXIOM executive Paul Lythcke noted the partnership will bring a greater portfolio of tech‑enabled solutions across the healthcare continuum.
The transaction was announced on November 4, 2025, and terms were not disclosed. The deal follows Huron’s Q3 2025 earnings, where the company reported diluted EPS of $1.71, slightly below analyst estimates of $1.73, and revenue of $432.4 million, beating expectations. Adjusted diluted EPS of $2.10 surpassed consensus estimates of $1.87, and revenue grew 16.8% from the prior year.
Huron’s guidance for the full year 2025 raised adjusted diluted EPS to $7.50–$7.70 and narrowed revenue expectations to $1.65–$1.67 billion. The acquisition is positioned to accelerate Huron’s digital offerings and strengthen its presence in the payor market, aligning with industry trends toward technology‑enabled solutions for claims administration and digital transformation.
