Hut 8 Corp. announced the initial energization of its Vega data center on June 30, 2025, marking a major operational milestone. This 205 MW facility is believed to be the largest single-building Bitcoin mining facility by nameplate hashrate, spanning 162,000 square feet.

At full energization, Vega will support up to approximately 15 EH/s of BITMAIN U3S21EXPH servers for Bitcoin mining ASIC compute, representing nearly 2.0% of the current global Bitcoin network hashrate. The facility features a proprietary, rack-based, direct-to-chip liquid cooling system designed in-house by Hut 8, supporting ASIC deployments at densities of up to 180 kilowatts per rack.

BITMAIN is the client for the full ~15 EH/s deployment under an ASIC colocation agreement, which is expected to generate between $110 million and $120 million in annualized revenue upon full energization. The agreement also includes a purchase option allowing Hut 8 to acquire all or part of the hosted fleet, supporting American Bitcoin Corp.'s growth from 10 EH/s to 25 EH/s.
