HUYA Inc. announced its unaudited financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2025, reporting total net revenues of RMB1,508.6 million (US$207.9 million). This figure represents a stabilization year-over-year compared to RMB1,504.0 million in Q1 2024, driven by growth in its diversified business segments.
Revenues from game-related services, advertising, and others increased by 52.1% year-over-year to RMB370.4 million (US$51.0 million), now accounting for 24.6% of total net revenues, up from 16.2% in the same period last year. This growth was primarily due to deepened cooperation with Tencent and other game companies. Live streaming revenues, however, decreased to RMB1,138.2 million (US$156.8 million) from RMB1,260.4 million in Q1 2024, continuing to be impacted by the macroeconomic environment.
The company achieved a non-GAAP net income attributable to HUYA Inc. of RMB24.0 million (US$3.3 million) for the quarter. HUYA also highlighted its 'AI + Live Streaming' strategy, introducing 'Hu Xiao Ai,' an all-scenario AI agent for e-sports viewing during the Huya League of Legends Legend Cup Season 3, which enhances user experience. Overseas game-related services also recorded multi-fold sequential revenue growth, positioning international initiatives as a key growth engine.
