On October 22, 2025, Howmet Aerospace Inc. announced that Ken Giacobbe, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will retire on December 31, 2025, after 21 years of service with the company. Giacobbe will serve as a special advisor to Executive Chairman and CEO John Plant from December 1 through December 31, 2025, ensuring a smooth transition. The announcement was made at 16:15 ET from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Effective December 1, 2025, Patrick Winterlich will join Howmet as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Winterlich previously held the CFO position at Hexcel Corporation, where he served from 2017 and had been with Hexcel since 1998. He will be based at Howmet’s global headquarters in Pittsburgh and will assume full CFO responsibilities upon his arrival.
