Hycroft Mining Holding Corporation announced final drill results from its 2024 exploration program at the Hycroft Mine on April 30, 2025. The program completed 9,058 meters of drilling, along with geophysics, geochemistry, and mapping campaigns, significantly advancing the understanding of mineralizing controls in the high-grade trends of Brimstone and Vortex.
New high-grade potential was generated in new exploration targets, including the Bay target with Hole H24E-6014 hitting high-grade veins, and the Manganese target with Hole H24E-6015 yielding positive results with multiple high-grade oxide intercepts. The results confirm Brimstone as the upper portion of an intermediate sulfidation system, a significant shift from historical concepts.
Given the high commodity price environment and identification of new oxide (heap leach) target areas, the technical team is further assessing the potential opportunity of a start-up heap leach operation. This could precede the sulfide milling operation, offering an earlier path to production.
