Metalla Royalty & Streaming Ltd. completed the purchase of the remaining 0.15% interest in the Côté/Gosselin net‑smelter‑return royalty, increasing its total stake to 1.5%. The transaction, completed on October 31 2025, was paid in cash of C$3.4 million.
The Côté Gold Mine reached commercial production in August 2024 and operates at its nameplate capacity of 36,000 tonnes per day. IAMGOLD runs the mine as a 70% joint venture with Sumitomo Metal Mining Co. Ltd.
IAMGOLD plans a 45,000‑meter drill program at the Gosselin project in 2025 and expects an updated technical report for the Côté/Gosselin complex in 2026.
Metalla previously acquired a 1.35% NSR royalty on part of the Côté project and all of the Gosselin project in June 2021 for C$7.5 million, making this acquisition a strategic expansion of its portfolio on a major Canadian gold asset.
