Integral Ad Science (IAS) announced on October 10, 2024, a new test with Meta for a first-to-market optimization solution for advertisers. This solution introduces IAS's third-party Content Block List for ads on Facebook and Instagram Feed and Reels, allowing global advertisers to automatically avoid placing ads next to content deemed unsuitable for their brand, aligned with industry standards. The Content Block Lists are open to IAS customers currently utilizing measurement solutions for Instagram and Facebook reels and feed, with general availability planned for early 2025. This initiative aims to improve media quality and reduce brand risk for advertisers by providing tools to avoid unsuitable content and safely scale campaigns. IAS has completed rigorous testing to validate performance improvements and brand suitability for these Content Level Block Lists. Paired with Total Media Quality (TMQ), IAS now offers end-to-end campaign support for advertisers across Facebook and Instagram Feed and Reels, encompassing both measurement and optimization capabilities.
