Interactive Brokers announced the launch of expanded trading hours for Forecast Contracts, allowing eligible clients to trade nearly 24 hours a day, Sunday through Friday. This provides greater flexibility for managing risk and expressing market views.
Forecast Contracts offer a straightforward way to take a position on outcomes of significant economic, government, and environmental events. Each contract is based on a 'Yes' or 'No' question, with prices reflecting market probability.
Steve Sanders, EVP of Marketing and Product Development, noted that extended trading hours enable clients to act on critical market developments as they unfold across different geographies and time zones. These contracts are available on multiple IBKR trading platforms.
