Installed Building Products, Inc. announced the acquisition of Carolina Precision Fibers ACP, LLC (CPF), a manufacturer of recycled fiber products. This acquisition adds over $20 million of annual revenue to IBP's business.
CPF, located in Ronda, North Carolina, manufactures cellulose-based insulation, hydromulch for erosion control, and composite materials for industrial applications. Its service area extends across the Northeast, Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast regions of the United States.
This strategic move expands IBP's access to an environmentally responsible and versatile product, serving as an alternative to fiberglass insulation in residential applications and various commercial and industrial uses. The acquisition is expected to benefit both business operations and financial results by increasing direct access to materials used in IBP's installation services. Including CPF and three smaller acquisitions, IBP has acquired approximately $39 million in annual revenue year-to-date in 2025.
