ICE Futures U.S. announced on November 1, 2024, the listing of several new futures contracts, set to begin trading on December 9, 2024. These new contracts span Oil Americas, Financial Gas, Financial Power, and Physical Environmental markets.
The new listings include Biofuel Outright futures, various Crude Diff futures, Tennessee Zone 1 Basis and Index futures, Transco Station 165 Basis and Index futures, and multiple ERCOT power futures. Additionally, California Carbon Allowance Vintage 2029 futures will be introduced.
This expansion diversifies ICE's product offerings, providing market participants with more tools for hedging and risk management across a broader range of commodities. It is expected to enhance liquidity and potentially increase trading volumes in these segments.
