Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. released its April 2025 ICE Mortgage Monitor Report on April 7, 2025. The report indicated a notable cooling in home price growth as the spring home buying season commenced. An early look at March data from the enhanced ICE Home Price Index (HPI) showed annual home price growth decelerated to 2.2%. Condo prices fell year over year for the first time in over a decade, with the largest impacts observed in Florida. This trend is attributed to improved inventory levels, which were up 27% over the previous year, and stabilized mortgage rates. The cooling market conditions can influence mortgage origination volumes, a key revenue driver for ICE's Mortgage Technology segment.
