Intchains Group Limited, through its Goldshell brand, announced the launch of the Goldshell Byte on March 27, 2025, an innovative home miner designed for enhanced flexibility and efficiency. This new product features a standard dual-slot mining base and hot-swappable mining hash boards.
The Goldshell Byte allows users to simultaneously apply two different algorithms and easily switch mining cards based on prevailing market conditions. Currently, Goldshell has released two companion cards for the Byte: the AE Card with a default hash rate of 4.5 MH/s ±5%, and the DG Card operating at 65 MH/s ±5%.
CEO Ding Qiang stated that the Goldshell Byte enables quick switching of mining algorithms without replacing the entire rig, reducing miners' exposure to market volatility and allowing them to capitalize on early-market opportunities. This launch aims to solidify the company's market position in the home mining sector and enhance product standardization.
