Intelligent Bio Solutions Inc. announced a strategic collaboration with Detecto, a division of Spanish distributor MTB Distribuciones Tecnologicas SL, to expand access to its fingerprint drug testing in Spain and Andorra. This partnership aims to leverage the strengths of both companies across various sectors, including workplace safety and transportation.
Detecto already supplies INBS’s solution to major clients such as transportation network Metro Barcelona and a large mine in Rio Tinto. These accounts currently require a supply of 1,000 cartridges per month, reflecting strong trust and confidence in INBS's technology.
The Spanish drug testing market is anticipated to reach $448 million by 2030, driven by efforts to prevent drug abuse and increasing acceptance of drug screening. This expansion reinforces INBS's presence in the European market and its broader implementation of fingerprint drug screening.
