Infosys introduced a new AI agent that turns raw operational data—well logs, images, plots and tables—into conversational insights, real‑time alerts and predictive maintenance recommendations for the energy sector. The solution blends Infosys’ own Topaz and Cobalt platforms with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI and ChatGPT‑4o, enabling automated reporting and early‑warning analytics across upstream and downstream activities.

Salil Parekh, MD and CEO, noted that Infosys’ depth in AI, cloud and digital, combined with cost‑efficiency and automation, positions the firm well to meet client needs. In Q4 FY25, he emphasized the company’s ability to deliver value from AI, while in Q2 FY26 he highlighted strong deal wins, with 67% net new business, as evidence of client confidence in the firm’s AI capabilities.
