Intuit has made its AI‑powered virtual team of agents available worldwide, extending the QuickBooks experience to Canadian small‑and‑medium‑business owners. The new agents work across accounting, finance, customer management, and sales‑tax functions, automating routine tasks and surfacing actionable insights that help businesses focus on growth.

The AI agents are designed to address the inefficiencies that the company’s Growth Gap report identifies as a barrier for 49% of Canadian SMBs. By automating repetitive processes, the agents could lift revenue across the Canadian small‑business economy by 6.4% annually, translating to an average uplift of $178,273 per company.

Users are expected to save up to 12 hours per month, and 80% of SMB leaders say AI can help them delegate more effectively. The time‑saving promise is backed by multiple independent studies that confirm the agents’ ability to streamline bookkeeping, invoicing, and tax‑filing workflows.

Intuit’s move is part of a broader AI‑driven platform strategy that has already enhanced TurboTax Live and Credit Karma. By deepening its “done‑for‑you” offering, Intuit is reinforcing a competitive moat built on proprietary financial data and AI capabilities, positioning the company to capture a larger share of the Canadian market.

Puja Subrun, Vice President of Intuit Canada‑LATAM, emphasized the balance of “automation where it counts, human where it matters,” highlighting the real‑time, personalized insights the new QuickBooks experience delivers. CEO Sasan Goodarzi added that the AI‑driven expert platform “helps customers make more money with less work and gives them complete confidence in every financial decision.”
